Day 1:
You are
greeted on arrival at the Kochi international airport /
railway station and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon , Cochin
sight seeing by luxury boat,
visiting Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, etc. overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 2: Morning.
After breakfast, proceed to Athirampally, Vazhachal water
falls (80 Kms / 2 hrs from Kochi) which present an enchanting
sight and are of great scenic beauty. Afternoon proceed
to Guruvayoor, which is the most sacred and famous pilgrimage
centers of Kerala. Check in to your hotel and then visit to
'Elephant Sanctuary' (Punnathur Kotta), Mural Painting,
Kudakallu etc. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 3: Early
morning visit Sree Krishna temple, after breakfast proceed to
Munnar (180kms / 5hrs from Kochi) check in to your hotel by
noon. Afternoon sight seeing (Munnar is situated 1600m above
sea level). Over night stay at hotel.
Day 4:
Morning.
After breakfast spend the entire day at Munnar, visiting
Pothamedu, Devikulam, Pallivasal, Attukal, Mattuppetty,
Echo-Point etc. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 5:
Early morning, depart to Thekkady (110 kms-3.5 hrs from
Kochi) on the way, visiting Idukki dam, check in to your hotel by
afternoon. Evening sight seeing, tea-cardamom plantations. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 6:
Spend the
entire day at Thekkady, visiting Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary,
Murikkady, Pandikuzhy etc. Boating through Periyar lake will
be ever memorable one. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7:
Early morning, depart to Kumarakom (125
Kms /4 hrs from
Kochi), situated on the bank of Vembanad lake. Kumarakom bird
sanctuary is a favorite haunt of migratory birds from across
the world. Check in to your hotel. After lunch, visiting Kumarakom
bird sanctuary, coconut lagoons etc. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 8:
Morning;
visiting the temple. After breakfast check in to 'house boat'.
Proceed to Alleppey through paddy fields, coconut lagoons,
narrow canals and coir villages. A rare chance to see pepper,
coffee, cashew nut, coco, pineapple, nut mug etc. Watch birds
like king fisher, wood peeker, Drongo, Egrets, Bee-caters,
etc. Boating through Punnamada lake (famous for boat race ).
Overnight stay at house boat.
Day 9:
Morning
visiting the temple, after breakfast depart to Kovalam (160
kms-4 hrs) . On your way , visiting Trivandrum (capital of
Kerala) - Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Zoo etc. Check in to
your hotel at Kovalam, afternoon spending at beaches, the
paradise of sun, sea, sand and surf. Overnight stay at beach
resort.
Day 10:
Morning
spending in beach , collecting different types of sea shells,
purchase. After lunch proceed to Kanyakumari (100 kms-2.5 hrs)
check in to your hotel, in the evening watch the sun set.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11:
Early
morning , watch the sunshine. After breakfast, visiting
Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari temple, Gandhi Memorial
etc.
And it's time to bid farewell. Drive to
airport/railway stations at Trivandrum central, assist you
with all check in formalities
